The loss of a baby, whether through miscarriage, stillbirth, or shortly after birth, is an unimaginable grief. For many families, this loss is not only heartbreaking but also invisible to the world around them. In those tender moments, photographs can serve as a powerful way to honor and remember a baby’s life, no matter how brief.

As a photographer, and a mother,   I believe every life deserves to be remembered. That is why I offer complimentary bereavement and remembrance photography to families experiencing pregnancy loss or infant loss. These sessions are my way of giving back—providing families with gentle, lasting images that reflect the depth of their love and the significance of their child’s life.

What is Bereavement Photography?

Bereavement or remembrance photography is a service that provides families with photographs of their baby and their time together. These images are not about posing or perfection—they are about love, connection, and creating tangible memories that families can hold onto when words fall short.

Why I Offer This Service

Grief from pregnancy and infant loss is often private, yet incredibly heavy. Too often, families do not have photos or keepsakes to remember their baby by. Through photography, I hope to offer comfort, a way to preserve love in the form of images that can be revisited in moments of remembrance and healing.

This service is always offered free of charge. My role is simply to hold space, quietly and respectfully, while capturing tender details and emotions: a baby’s tiny toes, a parent’s gentle touch, or the closeness of family gathered together.

I understand the sensitivity of these sessions. All remembrance photography is handled with care, privacy, and respect for each family’s unique journey. You will never be rushed, and your images will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
